Rye Police Sergeant Michael Larkin Retires After Over 40 Years of Service: Sergeant Michael Larkin of the Rye Police Department has retired after more than forty years of service, concluding his career on February 23, 2026. Larkin, a lifelong Rye resident and Rye High School alumnus, began working with the department as a teenager and held several roles over the years, including park ranger, bay constable, and auxiliary police officer before becoming a sworn officer.
