Marian Doebele Wood, Former Pelham Educator and Volunteer, Dies at 89. Marian Doebele Wood, a former resident of Pelham Manor, passed away at age 89 on April 5, 2026. Born in New York City and raised in Pelham, she graduated from Pelham Memorial High School and later taught at Siwanoy Elementary School. Wood was remembered for her dedication to education and active involvement in local community organizations.
