Rye Native Robert D. Matturro, Jr., Former DJ and Entrepreneur, Dies at 62. Robert D. Matturro, Jr., originally from Rye and most recently of Stamford, Connecticut, passed away suddenly on March 13, 2026, his 62nd birthday. Matturro attended Rye High School before pursuing acting, securing roles in films and television, and performing as a breakdancer on tour. He later worked as a DJ at popular venues before establishing a successful home remodeling business.
