Cayuga Correctional Officer Arrested After Drug Seizure at Facility. A correction officer at the Cayuga Correctional Facility in Moravia was arrested after being found with cocaine and heroin as he reported for duty, state police said. The investigation involved a narcotics dog and uncovered over 28 grams of cocaine and more than 10 grams of heroin, along with additional drugs in the officer’s vehicle. Gregory S. Gorman, 30, faces criminal drug charges as well as promoting prison contraband and official misconduct. He is being held at the Cayuga County Jail pending arraignment.
