White County Deputies Accused in Lawsuit Over Death of Bicyclist on Indiana 16. A lawsuit filed in federal court alleges that two White County sheriff's deputies dragged Kyle Budimir onto Indiana 16 after initially stopping him during a domestic incident response on August 1. The suit claims deputies did not take measures to control traffic before restraining Budimir on the roadway, resulting in his being struck and killed by a passing vehicle.
