West Lafayette Wendy's Closes as Part of National Restructuring Effort: The Wendy's restaurant at 252 E. State St. in West Lafayette closed just before the new year, following corporate plans to shutter nearly 300 underperforming sites nationwide by the end of 2025. The closure left a noticeable imprint of the removed signage on the building facade. This location was operated by Lafayette-based Frosty Management Corp., which manages several stores in the area.
