Nicole Kong Appointed Associate Vice Provost and Dean at Purdue Libraries. Purdue University has appointed Professor Nicole Kong as the new associate vice provost and dean for Purdue Libraries and the School of Information Studies. Kong, who specializes in geographic information systems and has served as a faculty member within the libraries, was selected following an internal search process. Her leadership is expected to play a key role in supporting Purdue’s academic mission, particularly with developments in artificial intelligence. Kong will begin her new responsibilities on March 16.
