Two Hospitalized After Head-On Collision on State Route 96 in Manchester. A head-on collision on State Route 96 at Kyte Road in Manchester led to serious injuries for an 85-year-old Shortsville resident and sent a second driver from Farmington to the hospital. The incident occurred on the evening of February 28, when one vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and struck another car. Emergency responders freed one driver who sustained multiple injuries, while the other reported neck and wrist pain. Citations were issued and a court appearance is pending.
