Finger Lakes Athletes Win Gold at 2026 Winter Olympics. Athletes from the Finger Lakes region of New York achieved notable success at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Chris Lillis of Pittsford repeated as gold medalist in mixed team aerials, and Rochester's Dylan Walczyk finished seventh in dual moguls, with both having trained at Bristol Mountain. Webster native Haley Winn scored a goal and three assists to help the U.S. women's hockey team secure gold. Several Bishop Kearney graduates also contributed, with some competing internationally.
