Hornell Resident Arrested on Criminal Mischief Charge in Penn Yan. A 47-year-old Hornell man was arrested on February 22 following a warrant issued by Penn Yan Village Court for third-degree criminal mischief. Authorities allege he damaged property at a local business in the village. The man was initially taken into custody at the Steuben County Jail, then transferred to Penn Yan for processing, and subsequently moved to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment.
