Finger Lakes Park Groups Secure State Grants for Facility Improvements. Two park organizations in the Finger Lakes are set for facility enhancements after receiving part of the largest grant allocation in the state program’s decade-long history. Friends of Hamlin Beach State Park will use $135,000 to advance upgrades for a distinctive hexagonal building, aiming to establish it as a community event space. Friends of Letchworth State Park was awarded $91,535 to restore roofing on two historic Council Grounds structures and develop educational materials.
