Canisteo Resident Charged With Felony for Violating Order of Protection. A 55-year-old woman from Canisteo was arrested after Steuben County deputies investigated a report of a violated order of protection in Greenwood on December 13. Authorities allege Nikki M. Innes-Cook intentionally disregarded a court-mandated directive to avoid a particular person and residence. She was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a class E felony, arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court, and subsequently released. The case remains under investigation by county officials.
