Rev. Culver Lunn Mowers, Longtime Episcopal Leader, Remembered After Passing at 83. Rev. Culver Lunn Mowers, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, in Fresno, California. Over his four-decade ministry, he served St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Slaterville Springs and several other parishes within the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York. Beyond his pastoral work, he was active in music as a pipe organ tuner and leader in the Organ Historical Society. After retiring, he remained engaged in the arts until his passing.
