Judge Randy Williams Retires Following 17 Years on Tippecanoe County Bench. Judge Randy Williams has announced his retirement after serving 17 years in Tippecanoe Superior Court 1 and nearly 38 years in Lafayette, Indiana. Originally from New York, Williams moved to Lafayette for personal reasons and established a lengthy legal career in the area. In retirement, he plans to serve as a senior judge as needed and to teach at Purdue University. His long tenure leaves a notable impact on the local legal community.
