Former State Representative and School Board Member Rosemary Kurtz Dies at 95. Rosemary Kurtz, a longtime Crystal Lake resident, has died at age 95. Kurtz served as an Illinois state representative from 2001 to 2005 and was later elected to the District 155 school board in 2015. She also worked for decades as a Spanish teacher in high school and college, finishing her teaching career with District 155.
