Two Arrested After Stolen U-Haul Van Incident and Foot Chase in Deerfield. Police in Deerfield arrested two men from Bellwood after responding to a report of a stolen U-Haul van on November 21. The vehicle, a white Ford Transit with an Arizona license plate, was located by officers at a McDonald’s on Waukegan Road. One suspect attempted to evade capture by fleeing on foot but was quickly apprehended by officers. Both individuals now face charges related to operating the stolen rental van.
