Lyons Community Remembers Reverend King Lewis Sr. for Decades of Service. The Lyons community is reflecting on the contributions of Reverend King Lewis Sr., who passed away at age 82 at Rochester General Hospital. As a pastor at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Lewis was noted for his dedication to faith over congregation size and active participation in Rotary and church events. He also worked with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for over twenty years and served on the Lyons School Board. His work in public service and education left a lasting impact on the town.
