1. Dana Alan Bacon, Longtime Windsor Resident and Machinist, Dies at 67: Dana Alan Bacon, a lifelong Windsor, Vermont resident, died unexpectedly at home on October 20 at age 67. Bacon, a Windsor High School graduate, spent his career in machining, working for local firms and retiring from Sturm Ruger in Newport. Known for his love of the outdoors, he enjoyed boating, camping at Lake Champlain, hunting, and fishing.
