Dana L. Rocco, Former Humane Society of Westchester Manager, Dies at 69: Dana L. Rocco, age 69, died on December 7, 2025, at the Charles T. Sitrin Health Care Center near Oneida, New York, after battling dementia. A graduate of White Plains High School and longtime shelter manager at the Humane Society of Westchester in New Rochelle, Rocco was recognized for her dedication to animal welfare. Over 5,500 Winners Announced in Erie Canal Million Dollar Raffle: The New York Lottery has revealed more than 5,500 prize-winning tickets from its Million Dollar Raffle, held to commemorate the Erie Canal’s bicentennial. The October 26 drawing awarded 45 top prizes, including fifteen $1 million winners and additional prizes of $100,000 and $25,000 across various regions of New York.
