Former Livingston County Board Member Francis Kosakowski Dies at 89: Francis "Fran" Kosakowski, a former member of the Livingston County Board of Supervisors, died at age 89 on February 22 at his home. Kosakowski began his service in 1986 on the Livonia Town Board and later was town supervisor for eight years until retiring in 1997. He lent his expertise to several county committees, including finance and social services. Kosakowski was also known for his involvement with the Livonia Fire Department and Rotary Club.
